Background

IPC undertook an initiative to replace a large-scale BPO client’s aging North American fleet of MFDs. IPC managed the end-to-end RFP process including business and technical requirements development, supplier evaluation and selection, supplier contract negotiations and MFD migration and replacement. The initiative resulted in a 33% reduction in MFD service and lease costs. Device and print security was improved through enhanced document and print management control. Exposed and unsecure network MFD endpoints were eliminated thus reducing the potential of external device intrusion. The Demand for overall print services was reduced by 25%.
